Choose the right CRM area

Open the area that matches the record or action you need.

Bulk Actions is not available yet

The CRM navigation includes a Bulk Actions destination, but that screen is marked as coming soon. Use the actions available in the contact directory or individual contact record for now.

Find and open a contact

The directory is designed for quick lookup before you act on a customer record.

  1. 1

    Open the contact directory

Go to Contacts. The list is paginated, so move between pages when a match is not in the current result set.
    CRMContacts
  2. 2

    Search by a known detail

Use a name, email address, or phone number to narrow the directory.
  3. 3

    Review and open the record

Select the matching row to see the contact profile and any related areas available to your role.

Sorting applies to the current page

Column sorting rearranges the contacts already loaded on the visible page. It does not guarantee a globally sorted result across every page.

Create a contact

Capture the minimum usable customer details first; add richer context when it is available.

  1. 1

    Start a new contact

From Contacts, choose the new-contact action. The contact type starts as Customer unless you change it.
    CRMContactsNew contact
  2. 2

    Enter the required identity details

Provide a first name, last name, and valid phone number. Email and role can be added when known.
  3. 3

Save and continue from the profile

After saving, open the contact record to add notes, documents, appointments, deals, or financial work as needed.

Bring contacts in or take a working copy out

Use import for structured CSV data and export when you need an offline contact list.

Import a CSV

Choose a CSV file, review the mapped contact data, and submit it. Importing requires permission to create contacts.

Import from this device

The browser contact picker appears only on supported devices and browsers. It is not a universal import option.

Export contacts

Choose an available date range and download a working copy. The export may contain more records than the current paginated view.

Check the result

Review imported rows for missing phone numbers, duplicate people, and incorrect company associations before using them.

Work from a contact record

The profile keeps customer context together so you can move from a detail to the next action without rebuilding the story.

  • Review identity and relationship details in Overview.
  • Check Messages, Activity, and Notes for recent context.
  • Use Financial health and Invoices when finance access is available.
  • Track Tasks and Appointments for the next follow-up.
  • Review Deals for pipeline context.
  • Keep supporting files in Documents.

Related tools still follow their own access rules

Seeing a contact does not guarantee access to every tab or action. Creating an invoice, opening calendar details, or changing a deal can require the corresponding module and permission.

Connect companies and follow-up work

Use company records for organization-level context and tasks for work that must happen next.

  1. 1

Open Companies for a business record

Use Companies when the organization itself—not only one person—is the customer or relationship you need to manage.
    CRMCompanies
  2. 2

    Keep the person record distinct

Use Contacts for the named individual and preserve the relevant company association where the form provides it.
  3. 3

Use Tasks for the next action

Record and review follow-up work in Tasks instead of relying on the contact profile as a reminder list.

Respect access and irreversible actions

Available CRM controls change with your role and organization permissions.

Deletion is permanent

Confirm the exact contact or company before deleting it. The current interface presents deletion as a permanent action, and related history may be important to other teams.
  • View, create, update, delete, import, and export controls can be permission-gated.
  • Company actions use their own entity permissions.
  • Keep required phone details valid before saving or importing.
  • Check related-module access before promising a complete customer timeline.
