Know what is available before you start

Campaigns use application data and backend endpoints; several adjacent marketing experiences are still interface previews.

Social Suite, Lead Forms, and Surveys are preview-only

Those areas currently use sample records or local interface state. Connections, scheduled posts, analytics, edits, and submissions in those previews should not be treated as saved or delivered work.

Find and manage a campaign

The campaign list is the reliable starting point for previously saved campaign records.

  • Search saved campaigns by the available campaign details.
  • Use channel and status to distinguish similar records.
  • Open a campaign to continue editing its setup and content.
  • Open Results for the delivery metrics returned for that campaign.
  • Delete only after confirming the exact campaign and its history.
  • Treat preview-only marketing cards separately from this saved campaign list.

Create a campaign

Start with the channel and audience because both determine what content can be sent.

  1. 1

    Start from Campaigns

Open Marketing, switch to Campaigns, and choose the new-campaign action.
    MarketingCampaignsNew campaign
  2. 2

Name the campaign and choose a channel

Select Email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Use a name your team will recognize in the campaign list and results.
  3. 3

    Choose the audience

Add the intended recipients and verify they have a valid destination for the selected channel.
  4. 4

    Add content and save

Complete the channel-specific content, then save before previewing, scheduling, or sending.

Compose content for the selected channel

The editor changes by channel, so review the metadata and message together.

Email content

Use the rich-text editor and complete subject, preheader, sender name, and reply-to details where available.

SMS content

Write the message as plain text and review its length and clarity before saving.

WhatsApp content

Write the campaign message as plain text and confirm the audience has WhatsApp destinations.

Campaign preview

Use the available preview to review content, then return to the editor to correct the saved campaign.

Review the audience before delivery

A campaign can only reach recipients whose contact data matches its selected channel.

  1. 1

    Inspect the selected recipients

Confirm that the intended contacts—not only the expected count—appear in the campaign audience.
  2. 2

    Check destination availability

Email requires a usable email address; SMS and WhatsApp require an appropriate phone destination.
  3. 3

    Remove unintended recipients

Use the campaign editor's audience controls to remove people who should not receive this message.
  4. 4

    Save the revised audience

Return to the campaign summary and verify the audience before proceeding.

Send now or schedule carefully

Delivery actions are available only when the campaign setup is ready enough for the current interface.

  1. 1

    Run the final content check

Preview the message, confirm its channel metadata, and review the saved audience.
  2. 2

    Resolve readiness blockers

If Send or Schedule is unavailable, return to the missing campaign setup instead of bypassing it.
  3. 3

    Choose send or schedule

Use Send for the current action or Schedule to store the timing offered by the campaign interface.
  4. 4

    Verify the resulting campaign state

Return to the campaign list and Results. Do not rely on the button interaction alone as proof of provider delivery.

The frontend does not prove provider delivery

Send and Schedule submit the campaign through the campaign update workflow visible in this frontend. Actual dispatch depends on backend and provider configuration that this interface cannot independently verify. Use the saved status and returned results as the available evidence.

Send email campaigns from your own domain

By default, email campaigns come from our shared address. Verify your business domain so recipients see an address like news@yourbusiness.com.

  1. 1

    Add your domain

Open Sending domains in settings and add a domain your business owns, such as yourbusiness.co.zw. Enter just the domain, without https:// or www.
    SettingsSending domainsAdd domain
  2. 2

    Add the DNS records

Copy each DNS record shown (type, host and value) into your domain provider's DNS settings, where you bought the domain.
  3. 3

    Check the domain

Select Check DNS. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to spread, so check again later if records are not found yet. The domain is ready when it shows Verified.
  4. 4

    Choose it on a campaign

In an email campaign, open From, pick your verified domain and type the part before the @, such as news or hello.

Admins manage domains

Adding, checking and removing domains needs the manage sending domains permission. If a domain stops being verified or is removed, campaigns using it must switch to another sender before they can be sent.

Read campaign results

Results reflect the metrics returned for the selected campaign and channel.

  • Use Sent as the recorded outgoing campaign volume.
  • Compare Delivered and Failed before judging reach.
  • Use Opened or Read only when that metric is returned for the channel.
  • Use Clicked only when click data is available for the campaign.
  • Investigate the underlying audience and provider setup when results are incomplete.
  • Do not combine preview-only analytics with saved campaign results.

Treat preview-only features as demonstrations

These screens can help communicate a future workflow, but they do not yet provide durable marketing operations.

Preview data

Social Suite

Account connections are simulated, and scheduled post changes are held only in local interface state.

Preview data

Lead Forms

The displayed forms and analytics are sample content; edit and submission actions are not connected.

Preview data

Surveys

The displayed surveys and analytics are sample content; edit and submission actions are not connected.

Preview changes can disappear on refresh

Do not use these three areas as a system of record, promise that a social account was connected, or share their sample analytics as business results.

Check access and consent before acting

Campaign actions are permission-controlled and still depend on accurate customer contact data and appropriate communication practices.

  • View, create, update, and delete actions can be restricted by marketing permissions.
  • Verify recipients and their channel details before submitting a campaign.
  • Use only audiences your organization is authorized to contact.
  • Confirm the campaign status and results after any send or schedule action.
